Honolulu Zoo
The principal zoological institution of research in the state of Hawaii, which is one of the states of the United States of America, is the Honolulu Zoo. The Honolulu Zoo is located in the City and County of Honolulu in the neighborhood of Waikiki, which itself is located on Oahu. There is no other zoo in the United States of America except for this zoo which has the status of being built through grants which have been obtained from a sovereign monarch. The zoo is built on the Queen Kapi'olani Park, which is a part of a royal park. The royal park has a total are of three hundred acres. There are 1230 animals in the Honolulu Zoo. |
