The climate of the Hawaiian island of Waikiki is typical for a tropical area, although temperatures and humidity tend to be a bit away from the extremes as compared to other tropical locales because of the constant trade winds, which blow over it from the direction of the east. The highest temperature during peak summer season is mostly in the upper 80 degree Fahrenheit which is about 31 degree Celsius during daytime and about 70 degree Fahrenheit which is about around 24 °C during the night time.
